The Role Exciting opportunities exist across Epworth to work in a full-time, part-time, or casual capacity as a nurse in scrub scout, anaesthetics, or recovery within our Perioperative environments.
You will make an impact by:
- Providing a high level of nursing care to your patient during their theatre journey
- Assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of patients
- Monitoring the condition of patients during procedures and reporting changes
- Recognising and responding to changing needs of the patient
- Applying a safety-first mindset that sees a positive patient experience outcome
To be successful in this role… You are a Registered or Enrolled Nurse who is a strong communicator, flexible and adaptable in your approach and have a natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients. You are solutions focused, you place the patient at the heart of all your decisions and you enjoy collaborating with a team.
You will have
- Current AHPRA registration
- Post graduate qualifications or nursing experience within the perioperative environment
