The Role
In this part time (11 hours per week) Grade 2 Renal Dietitian role, based in Epworth Eastern, you will be responsible for  providing nutritional care and support to renal patients in ensuring their long-term health and wellbeing. Through your clinical expertise, you will have a leading role in ensuring excellence in patient care. You will be part of the Dietetics and wider Allied Health Departments team and report to the Allied Health Manager.

You will make an impact by:

• Providing specialist renal nutritional advice to patients and members of the treating healthcare team
• Developing programs and guidelines based on current evidence based practice
• Participating and presenting in department, division and hospital in-services
  
  

To be successful in this role…

You will require

• Well developed interpersonal and key stakeholder management skills
• Excellent time management, prioritisation and communication skills
• Strong customer service focus

You will have

• Extensive hospital based clinical experience with at least 2 years experience in renal nutrition
• Demonstrated evidence of service development in the area of renal nutrition
• Must be eligible for membership of DAA

Epworth Eastern has commenced its expansion and redevelopment, which will see the construction of the 14 storey East Wing Tower, delivering additional beds, theatres and  consulting rooms. The expansion will also see a brand new private emergency department for Melbourne’s east.
