The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a candidate of the Royal Australian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA) to join the Executive Academic and Medical Services team at Epworth HealthCare in Victoria in an accredited training position as a Registrar in Medical Services and Leadership. This role is under the direct supervision of the Group Director Academic and Medical Services/Deputy Chief Medical Officer, and Executive Director AMS/Chief Medical Officer both of whom are FRACMAs, and offers excellent opportunities for developing your knowledge base and experience towards Fellowship of RACMA.
The successful applicant will have the unique opportunity to learn key aspects of medical management and leadership in the not-for-profit private hospital setting, from both a group-wide and hospital context. There will be a focus on the management of junior and senior medical workforce, engagement of VMOs, credentialing and determination of scope of clinical practice, clinical governance, clinical outcome analytics, medical education and participation in the governance of safe introduction of new technologies.
Skills & Experience
To be eligible, applicants must hold general or specialist medical registration with AHPRA and be a registered candidate of the RACMA Fellowship Training Program.
