The Role 

Epworth Geelong seeks a part time Grade 2 Dietitian, and casual staff (Grade 1 or 2 ) to be part of a dynamic and supportive Allied Health department. Consderation may be given to the part time EFT being shared or the hours completed over 5 days. The role provides an opportunity for someone keen to align to a clinical specialty eg rehabilitation inpatients and outpatients, or acute care which includes surgical and medical, as well intensive care, oncology, dialysis, and maternity patients. The dietitian team is led by an enthusiastic and passionate Grade 3 keen to embrace new staff willing to collaborate, develop and build this patient service. Casual roles includes covering leave, and ad hoc assisitance with increases in hospital activity or clinical need. Epworth Geelong staff  have access to our extended teams and resources across rehabilitation and acute settings within the Epworth Healthcare Group.

To be successful in this role...

You will be highly motivated and patient focused dietitian, looking to gain new skills and consolidate experience in a state of the art and growing hospital setting.

you will have:

  • Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent degree
  • Full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA)
  • Eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) Program
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Dietician for permanent post, and for casual at least 1 year experience in a hospital setting.
