The Role
Epworth Rehabilitation and Mental Health seeks a part-time Clinical/Health Psychologist for this part time role, currently 3 days per week, with the potential to increase to 4 days per week in 2020. The classification is Grade 2, Year 1 - 4 class/Specialist Clinician Psychologist for approved Supervisors.
The Psychologist’s role is part of a talented team of psychologists, working within a broader interdisciplinary team environment, providing clinical services to hospital inpatients and outpatients experiencing a range of medical conditions.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be skilled and compassionate to complement our other Allied Health team members, in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work and Speech and Dietetics
- Have a varied caseload which includes providing psychological assessments and interventions to individual and group inpatients/ outpatients presented with orthopaedic, cardiac and respiratory conditions, neurological conditions, chronic fatigue, persistent pain and general musculoskeletal problems
- Have exceptional communication skills
- Have excellent IT literacy
- Have proven experience in clinical program delivery.
