We are seeking an experienced, accountable and proactive Registered Nurse to join our friendly and committed team. This role will provide the opportunity to work with a team focused on achieving quality outcomes and patient centred care.

 

Our ward is made up of 35 Orthopaedic beds, and our surgical cases vary from joint replacement surgery, spinal surgery, foot and ankle, sports injuries and emergency trauma cases.  This position requires the successful applicant to work across all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends.

 

Some of the tasks involved in this role include:

  • Providing hands-on care to clients as part of the multidisciplinary care team
  • Assisting with the implementation of best practice nursing policies and procedures
  • Clinical assessment of clients and complex client management
  • Documenting and reporting any change in client’s status

As the successful candidate you will possess:

  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Proven clinical nursing experience post registration
  • A high standard of clinical and service excellence
  • Great communication, time management and excellent customer service skills
