Epworth's Cardiac Diagnostic Services unit (CDS) is seeking a qualified and experienced Echo Cardiographer, with a proven track record of excellent cardiac imaging skills.
You will join a great team, within a supportive team environment, working with on-site cardiologists. CDS performs comprehensive echo-based testing: transthoracic, exercise and pharmacological stress, transoesophageal and intra-procedural echo.
CDS runs a suite of 6 clinical rooms, using Philips ultrasound units, including 3D and high-end quantitative software. Epworth in-patients and out-patients, from a broad referral base, provide an interesting and varied caseload, including referrals for leading-edge complex interventional procedures; excellent communication skills with colleagues, and caring patient interaction, are highly valued.
This is a permanent position, up to 38 hours per week; those wishing to work part-time hours are welcome to apply. Grading will depend on experience. Applicants who have completed one year of the QUT Diploma in Cardiac Sonography (or equivalent) will also be considered.
