The Role
An outstanding executive leadership opportunity exists for a Director of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to join Epworth Richmond.
The Director of ICU provides strong clinical and medical leadership, expertise and advice to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to our Patients at Epworth Richmond.
Key areas of focus for this role include to:
- Provide accessible, responsive and innovative Intensive Care Services.
- Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners, nationally and internationally
- Lead business and medical workforce planning, resource management to ensure growth and continued service improvements
- Ensure effective clinical governance and compliance with legal and regulatory obligation
- Develop academic, research and education within ICU
Skills & Experience
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Strong clinical leadership and experience in directing a private ICU
- Strong people skills and the ability to communicate and influence across all levels
- Ability to develop, implement, monitor and report on annual operating plans
- Experience in the delivery of major projects
- Capacity to present Epworth HealthCare in a strong and positive manner to all stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the service delivery models within the private healthcare sector
In addition you will possess the following qualifications:
- Current medical registration with the AHPRA
- Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (FCICM) or
- Appropriate postgraduate health professional tertiary qualifications
