The Role
Multiple opportunities exist for Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our 50 bed Oncology inpatient unit, providing diagnosis, treatment and care for multiple types of cancers and haematological conditions for our patients.
This unit has which recently expanded into brand new facilities within the East Wing Tower, with flexible options available for full time and part time employment.
We are looking for both experienced Oncology Nurses and Nurses who are interested in starting their career in Oncology.
You will have access to:
- ADAC (chemotherapy) training
- Introduction to Oncology study days
- Scholarships for Post Graduate Oncology qualifications
- A multidisciplinary team to support the unit which includes a Palliative Care Nurse and a Breast Care Nurse.
- A Ward based Educator
To be successful:
You will have
- Current registration with AHPRA
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in acute nursing
- Experience within Oncology is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent clinical skills
- Competency and confidence in managing acute situations

About Epworth Eastern Located in Box Hill, Epworth Eastern is a state-of-the-art facility and includes an 8 bed ICU, 10 bed HDU/CCU and 10 theatres. Epworth Eastern maintains a broad clinical focus from cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic and general surgery to oncology, urology and endoscopy services.
Epworth Eastern has commenced its expansion and redevelopment, which will see the construction of the 14 storey East Wing Tower, delivering additional beds, theatres, dedicated level for endoscopy with 3 procedure rooms and consulting rooms.
