 About Epworth Geelong Emergency Department

  • A new unit with 20 treatment spaces, including 2 resuscitation bays and 4 fast track cubicles.
  • Well supported working environment with 08:00-24:00 FACEM presence, and well supported inpatient rosters.

We are seeking motivated, innovative and patient-care orientated Emergency Physicians to join our Emergency Department at Epworth Geelong. Our Emergency Department provides an opportunity to look after a full range of Emergency presentations including paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology and neurosurgery. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our experienced and supportive Emergency department clinical team at Epworth Geelong.

Key areas of focus for this role include:

  • Ensuring excellent patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
  • Ensuring patient flow is managed whilst providing high standards of patient care
  • Support education – be able to assist in providing teaching to medical students and other clinicians

 

About you

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Be FACEM accredited
  • Have or be eligible for a valid Working With Children Check (essential)
  • Be highly accountable and demonstrate a strong, supportive and engaging style
  • Be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
