 The Role

Options exist for you to work in either a permanent full-time or part-time capacity within our Birth Suite and Post Natal ward at Epworth Freemasons, based in East Melbourne.

The Maternity Services department consists of 9 birth suites, 10 bed special care nursery, 34 bed postnatal unit and a 6 bed hospital in the Park Hyatt Hotel and currently accommodates approximately 3,000 births per annum.

You will make an impact by:

• Delivering an exceptional patient experience to women, their partners/families and their babies to have positive pregnancy, birth and postnatal experience
• Providing a high standard of nursing/midwifery care
• Encouraging and role-modelling empathy to patients and families

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA Registration
• Previous experience working in a Birth Suite or Post Natal ward
• Contemporary knowledge of best practice in maternity and newborn nursing care and the patient journey

The annual salary range for full time – AUD $66,710 - $93,669 + super + entitlements depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time)
