It is an exciting time to join Epworth Freemasons, having only recently been upgraded we have commenced a major redevelopment that will represent a generational change for our Clarendon Street hospital with construction underway to provide more consulting suites, operating theatres and improvements to patient amenity.

We are constructing a 12-level tower and buildings that will link to create significant onsite consulting opportunities for specialists, additional state-of-the-art theatres, expanded oncology services and extensive underground on-site car parking. We are also upgrading our maternity service facilities at our Victoria Parade campus in 2018. 

The Role 

Epworth Freemasons are seeking a motivated full-time Clinical Research Nurse with well-developed multitasking and prioritisation skills and a high level of attention to detail. 

The role requires empathy and the ability to communicate and engage with a range of stakeholders including patients and medical staff. The Clinical Research Nurse will work closely with the oncology/haematology unit to coordinate and manage patients involved in clinical trials whilst working towards providing a seamless patient journey.

This position will suit an individual with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic, who wants to be part of a friendly and supportive team operationalising clinical trials within an inpatient unit.

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive study records in line with the principles of Good Clinical Practice
  • Collaborative and engaging professional style
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in haematology /oncology nursing
  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA

Experience in coordinating clinical trials is highly desirable, although not essential. Please refer to the position description for further details
