The Role In this Part-Time/ Casual role, based in BOX-HILL, As an Hospitality services assistant you will be responsible for providing support to the hospitality services in Food, Environmental and Orderly Services. You will be part of the Hospitality team and report to Hospitality Services Operations Manager.
You will make an impact by:
- Proactively providing support to patients in relation to provision of services
- Contributing to a strong team environment
- Assisting with food preparation, collecting and washing dishes
- Rooms are ready for patients in a timely manner
- Safely and correctly operating all cleaning equipment
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion to patients and their family
To be successful in this role…
You will have
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in Hospitality Industry in a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sound & effective communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and effectively as part of a team

About Eastern
Located in Box Hill, Epworth Eastern is a state-of-the-art facility and includes an 8 bed ICU, 10 bed HDU/CCU and 10 theatres. Epworth Eastern maintains a broad clinical focus from cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic and general surgery to oncology, urology and endoscopy services.
Epworth Eastern has almost completed its expansion and redevelopment, which will see the construction of the 14 storey East Wing Tower, delivering additional beds, theatres and consulting rooms.
